TPA Portable Roadways Awarded FORS Bronze Accreditation
TPA Portable Roadways, Europe’s leading Portable Access provider has been awarded FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) Bronze accreditation, demonstrating that it meets a number of criteria necessary to deliver in London in terms of safety and environmental considerations. TPA was adjudged to sufficiently meet the Bronze standard at first assessment.
The FORS standard represents a quality and performance benchmark and recognises fleet operations which comply with the requirements of Transport for London’s operating standard. It is based on legal compliance, safety, environmental protection and operational efficiency. The companies Bronze accreditation is further recognition that TPA operates to standards that are regarded as some of the highest in the industry.

FORS was developed by Transport for London, working with a range of industry stakeholders, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Department for Transport, Freight Transport Association, the Metropolitan Police, Skills for Logistics and VOSA.

TPA Portable Roadways are based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire and after the scheme was rolled out nationally earlier this year FORS is pleased to report the popularity of the scheme for operators based out of London.
