As part of Vp Plc, we are continually challenging, reviewing and improving our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.

Quality People

Training and development of our staff has been an integral part of TPA’s values, but with the change of ownership, this philosophy has moved on a pace. Our training “Academy” provides a structured developmental programme for our employees, and enables them to achieve a TVQ (TPA Vocational Qualification). It’s this continued investment in our staff which led us to achieving a National Training Award. Additionally TPA has continued to attain the Investor In People standard since 2003, and recently we decided to further demonstrate our progress to clients by applying for the new, tougher level IIP standard which has been accredited for the next three years.

Quality Products

Our investment doesn’t stop at our staff; incessant investment in our stock and new innovative products is key to our success, enabling us to offer you, the client the best quality and most comprehensive range of products available within the industry. We are continually gaining feedback from our clients in order to further enhance our product selection, and last year alone we introduced four new products that are unique to the transmission industry. Accolades include The Queen’s Award for Enterprise, and The Event Services Association for product innovation, which reflect our ongoing commitment to product development.

Quality Safety

TPA operate a “safety first” philosophy and promotes the prevention of all accidents and incidents to improve ours, and your, Health and Safety records. We employ external experts who work with our in-house practitioners to constantly assess and review our working practices to ensure we are continually improving.

Quality Environment

We take our responsibility to the care of the environment seriously and seek wherever possible to adapt and adopt practices which help reduce our impact. We have recently committed ourselves to achieving BS8901, a sustainability management system for events.

We were the first in our market to recognise the benefits of recycling the water used during our cleaning process. Rainwater is collected in our 100,000 litre capacity tanks at the depot and fed to the wash areas, a process which is being rolled out to all TPA warehouses.

TPA operate a fleet of over 30 specialist installation vehicles, and we’ll endeavour to reduce our emissions and carbon “footprint” by embracing and wherever possible, spearheading the recycling culture.
