TPA Supplies a Safe Landing for Statues at Chatsworth House

chatsworth house

TPA’s Installation commences on the 3rd February 2012 across various sites incorporating a forklift install.

The garden at Chatsworth has always been a showcase for important sculptures. Throughout the garden you will find sculptures, fragments and vases of every kind, from a Roman altar and lead statues of Samson and Pan, to water gods and sea horses. In the last decade, modern sculptures have been added, and the collecting and commissioning of contemporary work continues. Some prominent modern pieces are highlighted here, and each is introduced by the Duke of Devonshire, who commissioned or collected most of these works with the Duchess.

252 TPA portable roadway panels are to be installed in total under this extensive contract, for which the focus shall be the protection of the garden and surrounding grounds from any visible damage before the House officially opens to the public once more in a month’s time.
