TPA GET INTO THE EVENT SECTOR SWING WITH THE WALES OPEN
FOLLOWING ON FROM ITS IMG GOLF EVENT CONTRACT WIN EARLIER THIS MONTH...
TPA Portable Roadways is delighted to confirm that it has provided extensive installations of its Heavy Duty Aluminium trackway for both vehicle and pedestrian use at the European Tour's Wales Open.
Golf events are a TPA sector speciality, as the company also supplied The Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor and continues to supply the PGA tournament at Wentworth and the IMG Women’s Open at Royal Birkdale
TPA’s experienced installation crews have supplied the Wales Open with its market leading heavy duty aluminium ground protection systems for the past 6 years and 2012 shall see over 350 panels being laid to service the vast Hospitality and Car Park areas.
TPA is the main supplier for many of the UK’s major outdoor sporting events including the Lawn Tennis Association’s activity at the Queen’s Club, Edgbaston and Eastbourne and also the AELTCC championships at Wimbledon. TPA shall also be installing panels for the RHS Hampton Court and Tatton Park flower shows alongside many of the leading music festivals & stadium concerts.
Oliver Dennis, TPA’s Field Sales Engineer was on site throughout the build up to ensure that the install went according to plan; “This is the sixth consecutive year that we’ve been awarded this contract” commented Oliver, “so we know the site extremely well. The trackway performed brilliantly and the organisers were once again delighted with the results”
